5th Annual Block Party

West Medford and RVF came together for the fifth summer in a row to enjoy time together at the annual Block Party. The Annex lawn was full of game booths, a dunk tank, face painting, and a bounce house.
The bbq crew was working hard to keep the food coming, and the snow cone station and cold brew coffee station were popular stops in between games and trips to the prize booth. Everyone had the chance to visit the photo booth for some souvenir photos, and a balloon man was making the rounds giving fun balloon creations to the kids.
Over 300 people came to hang out and play, a large number being from the neighborhood. It was wonderful to see familiar faces, deepen friendships, and share in fun times together.

The Block Party has become an important touchstone with the neighborhood over the years. We hear every time that it’s anticipated and enjoyed, especially by the children. Remaining faithful in creating opportunities for us to gather and live life alongside each other, as well as our neighbors, is immeasurably meaningful.

We strive to have regular chances to love, serve, and get to know those we worship with and who the Lord has called us to minister to. If you haven’t been part of the events in the neighborhood throughout the past few years, plan to attend or volunteer at the next one!
